Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and then relocated in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and worldwide commercials. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love for acting. Following her move into New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first role as an actor on All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She portrayed A.D.A. in Law & Order, where she had the best performance that of 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a frequent role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She was Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was with NBC's rather more dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was put on hold after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian origin as well as a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Milano was raised in one of the most religious, conservative families. Milano was first introduced to acting at the age of seven old. Babysitters would take her along to an audition. Her audition was amidst over 1000 applicants. She was selected among only four girls. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
